TRANSFER OF NFA ITEMS
Modern Weapon Systems specializes in transfer of NFA items, we stock a large selection of Silencer / Suppressors, Short Barrel rifles and Short Barreled Shotguns at all times. We use the latest technology to make transfer of your next NFA item very fast and easy for you. For Suppressor / Silencers, Short Barreled Rifle, Short Barreled Shotgun and Machine Guns the NFA branch charges $200.00 per item as a Tax Stamp. For the transfer of an AOW the the NFA branch charges $5.00 per item as a Tax Stamp. This tax is due before the application of a form 4 is submitted, once submitted the time for approval can take up to 6 months for and individual and 12 months for a trust. Make sure next time you are looking purchase a NFa item you visit us, no worrying if your transfer is going to get done, or you will get your item quickly. We have on site, a SilencerShop Kiosk system which allows on site finger prints in store a painless system which is approved by the ATF to be used for collection of your information and complete transfer through Silencer Shop. Transfer times using the Silencer Shop Kiosk is supposed to speed up the processing time to get a NFA form 4 approval. Once in the system you can purchase anytime in store or on our SilencerShop Dealer storefront and move directly to submitting your Form 4 within a few days with a few email interactions. You can also browse inventory through our SilencerShop dealer storefront here-> MWS SilencerShop Store Front and can purchase your favorite silencer we may not even have in stock, and do the whole process including the Form 4 direct with SilencerShop to be delivered direct to the store within a few days awaiting your From 4 approval.

All Other Weapon or "AOW" is any weapon like the following, a pistol or pistol shotgun with vertical handgrip, pen gun, cane gun, etc. AOW weapons require a $5.00 tax stamp and approved From 4 to obtain.
